Employee Wellbeing

We are committed to fostering a balanced “worklife” environment, ensuring every employee enjoys a healthy balance of work and family life. This essential mix is pivotal to ensuring happy employees, minimizing the risk of workplace injury and reducing staff turnover. We encourage all employees to maintain high levels of personal fitness, with most staff playing sport outside work and attending the gym. We offer flu shots to all staff on an annual basis.

Training and Development

Advancing in industry is easy when you harness the passion, drive and enthusiasm of a talented team. At Wild Company we encourage further training and development of all our employees wishing to increase their skills, expertise and efficiency, allowing progression within the company. We run comprehensive in-house training and external training courses on a regular basis covering areas such as skid steer loaders, excavators, works at heights, confined space and new processes and procedures. Product manufacturers regularly provide training in the installation and use of new materials.

Apprentice Program

With a strong belief in the fostering of new industry talent, we offer our apprentice the opportunity to take on the challenges of the construction industry in a safe and experience rich environment. Apprentices value greatly from the opportunity Wild Company’s experience can deliver with exposure to a range of projects from maintenance contracts to large commercial projects.

Employee Relations

Wild Company’s trade staff are all full-time employees of the company. These employees have the security of employment and conditions as detailed in the company’s collective agreement. All employees carrying out construction as well as maintenance work works are party to this agreement. We have an unblemished and enviable record for managing employee relations and it is a credit to the directors direct engagement in day to day operations that many of our employees have greater than 5 years continuous service with the company. We hold strong to the belief that the tradesmen are at the heart of the company and that their well being is paramount. We have never incurred any lost time associated with industrial disruption and advocacy brought on by our employees or their respective unions.
